ETIKUM 2025 conference is divided into three thematic sections:
METROLOGY AND QUALITY CONTROL IN THE PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
The first thematic area, in addition to the classical aspects of metrology and quality in the
field of production engineering, included subjects related to:
- precision engineering and nano metrology
- measurement and instrumentation, measurement methods, measurement techniques
- statistical quality control in the production process
- 3D digitization and CAD inspection
- reverse engineering
- methods for quality control in 3D printing and additive manufacturing
- calibration, CAQ/CAI
- sensors and IoT technology in quality monitoring in production
- application of automation and robots in quality control
- the role of digital twins in metrology and quality control
METROLOGY AND QUALITY CONTROL IN THE BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING
The second thematic area was focused on presenting the research results obtained in the framework
of a national project from the program of technological development "Research and development of
modelling methods and processes of manufacturing of dental restorations using modern technology and
computer aided system". In addition, this year this section is enriched with submissions of researchers
from other Faculty's departmens dealing with biomedical engineering. The main topics are related to:
- application of modern engineering methods in development of biomedical products
- application of modern manufacturing technologies in production of biomedical products
- modern approaches in quality control of biomedical products
- metrology in the medical CT, MRI image processing
- challenges in metrology for personalized medicine
- techniques for quality control of biomedical materials
METROLOGY AND QUALITY IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY
The third thematic area attracts researchers from various environmental protection and occupational safety fields.
Within this area, the main topics are related to:
- measurements and analyzes of pollutants emitted into the air, water, soil
- measurement and monitoring of physical aspects of the environment such as noise, radiation and vibrations
- environmental protection management
- product and process life cycle assessment
- environmental protection labeling
- metrology in the field of waste and resource management
- legislation and standards in the field of environmental protection
- environmental design and ecodesign
