The building of the Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTS) at the University of Novi Sad represents one of the most recognizable symbols of the university campus and the city's modern development. Located in the heart of the campus at Dositej Obradović Square 6, this monumental structure blends post-war architectural tradition with contemporary technological needs. The main, older part of the building is characterized by clean lines, a functional layout, and spacious halls that have witnessed the succession of generations of future engineers for decades. As a central hub of technical education in the region, the complex has been thoughtfully expanded over the years to successfully keep pace with the rapid increase in student numbers and the opening of new research laboratories.
Novi Sad is located on the European highway direction E-75 that connects the central with the southern and eastern part of the continent,
and only fifty kilometres from it passes another road direction, E-70, that connects the western and eastern Europe.
Parking is free of charge on the University campus.
Distance from some bigger cities:
It takes only 60 minutes of drive to get to the International Airport “Nikola Tesla” (Belgrade) via which Novi Sad and Serbia are connected with al bigger cities of Europe and the world by direct airway lines.
More than 100 transport agents operate from the main Novi Sad Bus Station and there are around 1,500 departures and arrivals of buses in local, inter-city and international passengers’ transport on a daily basis. City line number 4 takes you directly from the bus station to the university.
